High-end sports manufacturer like Porsche, Ferrari and Maserati are developing among others carbon fiber, which will be used on major load bearing structural parts and some of these manufacturers are working on technology, which include robotically woven carbon fiber panels.
We asked Alex Renner from AR Motors how he is keeping up with these developments. “If you are looking at a car body shop you have to look at three major points. The first one required to run a modern body shop is space and equipment. We have moved in our current facility two years ago and were fortunate to be able to allocate a good amount of space to our body shop. The second component for us are materials, both paint and auxiliaries. We at AR Motors are using only OEM approved material. This guarantees us not only to be at par with all dealerships but also to use the latest approved material from the car manufacturer. The third and last component is staff. All our paint technicians underwent a comprehensive training from the paint, spray booth and spry gun manufacturer on the latest paint application technologies, paintwork processes and color mixing techniques. Looking at these three components we can safely state that we are delivering high quality repairs.
One more thing is important to know, “ Alex continued; “The UAE is exposed to harsh elements such as sun, salt water and extremely fine sand. All jobs completed in our body shop will protect the repaired areas appropriately from these extreme elements.“
