Feb. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- The 2013 Women In Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA) Annual Kickoff will be held on Thursday February 21, 2013. The theme for the Kickoff is The Real Deal on Reality TV...and we've rounded up an impressive group of veteran reality TV producers to be our expert panelists.

The WIFTA Kickoff lineup includes Say Yes To The Dress Atlanta Executive Producer Jennifer Holbach, Jarrett Creative Head of Development Tracey Baker-Simmons, Project Runway Supervising & Story Producer Anna Pousho, Real Housewives of Atlanta Executive In Charge Of Production Joye Chin, Being Bobby Brown Executive Producer Wanda Shelley and Say Yes To The Dress: Bridesmaids Director / Field Producer Vanessa Butler. To insure things don't get too rowdy during this potentially controversial discussion, Salt Run Productions' Suzan Satterfield will be our guest moderator for the evening. From "What does a writer do on a reality TV show?" to "Do negative images need to be tempered?" to "how do I get a reality TV show sold," no reality TV topic is off-limits.

In addition to the 2013 WIFTA Kickoff being a great platform to learn about the reality TV scene in Georgia and beyond, it is also an opportunity for all attendees to meet the new WIFTA Board of Directors, find out about upcoming WIFTA activities and learn how to become more involved in Georgia's film and television industry! Those looking to become members can also join WIFTA during the Annual Kickoff celebration.

The 2013 Women In Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA) Kickoff will be held at Aurum Lounge 915 Peachtree St. NE Atlanta, GA 30309. The event, which is open to the public, will run from 6:30p – 10p. Online registration costs: WIFTA Members – Free / Non-Members - $20; Onsite registration costs: Members - $25 / Non-Members - $25.

To book an interview with Joye Chin or WIFTA President Cheryl Jenkins the night of the WIFTA Kickoff or prior to the event, please contact: BJ Arnett at PublicRelations@wifta.org or 404-422-3023 or Tanisha Coffey at VPCommunications@wifta.org
