PSG’s presence with Perkins at the Hall / Stand: S3B25 in the Middle East Electricity Exhibition 2013 highlights its joint engagement with customers and the assurance of engine sales / support, training and technical service support offered for Perkins products in the region.
The management team of Power Systems Gulf LLC which includes Srini Kadaba - General Manager, Krishna K Warrier - Sales & Marketing Manager, Shaik Rahim - Technical & Training Manager, Reuben Dias - Engine Sales & Applications and Karthik Harsha - Parts Support are participating in various support roles in the event.
Among the Perkins products being featured in today’s exhibition are the 1600 Series ElectropaK diesel engines, 400 Series ElectropaK - a proven source of power for generator set applications in regulated territories and 4000 Series gas power solutions.
Designed to meet key market nodes, the 1600 Series ElectropaK engine fills the gap between the company’s current 1300 and 2000 Series ranges. It comprises a range of full authority electronic control, turbocharged, air-to-air charge-cooled engines that have been developed to provide prime and standby power in a clean and cost-effective fashion with special emphasis placed on improved power density, reliability and robustness. The six-cylinder, 9.3 litre range offers outputs up to 300- kVA (240 kWe) prime power and 330 kVA (264 kWe) standby power at 1500 rpm, both key nodes.
The 400 Series ElectropaK, the new line up, is targeted at lesser and non-regulated countries. The 400A range has been developed to provide cost effective power. There are four engines in total, all of which come in ElectropaK specification providing a turnkey package for direct integration into generating plant. The 403A-11G1 offers 9.2 kVA prime power at 1500 rpm, the 403-15G1 is rated at 13.2 kVA prime power, slightly less than its G2 counterpart, while the larger displacement 404A-22G1 completes the line up with 20.3 kVA prime power on tap.
The 4000 Series gas engines can be used by our customers to meet their needs for either electrical power generation or combined heat and power. Developed from a proven engine range that offers superior performance and reliability, the 4006-23TRS is designed to meet the future demands of the power generation industry for clean, efficient gas fuelled engines.
Power Systems Gulf LLC as the chosen partner last year in the entire Gulf always ensures that Perkins global support standards are delivered to all customers in the region and to meet the demands of the ever-changing product support requirements for the new generation of technologically advanced engines now entering the markets.
