Spinneys collaborates with Chef Ghada El Tally

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 17, 2013 - Spinneys, the premier retail chain in the Middle East recently announced their collaboration with Chef Ghada El-Tally and launched their first cooking competition “Cook on a Budget” at Shmisani’s branch, to be followed by many other cooking activities, this competition aims to put the participants cooking skills under the test while enjoying a live cooking show by Chef El-Tally where winners later received valuable prizes from Kenwood, the main sponsor of this competition.

Commenting on this partnership Mr. Mohammad Ahmad General Manager of Spinneys Jordan said: “We are proud to partner with the renowned Chef El-Tally who flavored the “Cook on Budget” competition, and spiced it up by teaching cooking fans the art of cooking in an interactive way”. He added saying: “This is only the first step towards various activities and programs that will be held at Spinneys for the months to come.”

In accordance to this competition, Spinneys provided the participants with a limited budget to buy the needed ingredients to cook a dish of their choice, giving them the liberty to choose from the wide selection of produce available at Spinneys.  Meanwhile, Chef El-Tally  joined Spinneys visitors’ through the specially designed kitchen installed for this occasion to share her cooking experience and dishes.

“Cook on a budget” competition came as part of the monthly events and programs that will be held in the future at Spinneys together with El-Tally  to celebrate various events such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and various occasions allowing Spinneys’ visitors to enjoy.
