Feb. 15, 2013 - PRONicaragua representatives recently attended the I Conference for Global Investors titled “Central American Advantage Investment Symposium – Managua 2013”, organized by Gran Pacifica Resort. The conference focused on topics such as global finances, protection of investors’ assets, precious metals, traditional and residential tourism, agribusiness, legal services and technologies, and included interviews with investors and presentations from various institutions.
The conference featured presentations from 17 speakers and panelists’ real stories by investors or North American expats, who are doing business in Nicaragua.
The event, held from January 15th – 20th, had more than 60 attendees, mainly investors, whom, aside from assisting the conference, had the opportunity to visit Gran Pacifica, and do community service where they were able to paint and reforest a local school with the support of the Fabretto Foundation, also present at the event. Michael Cobb, President of the Gran Pacifica Resort, mentioned “the Central American Advantage Conference’s goal is to become an annual global event in which Nicaragua can be positioned as an attractive investment destination”

Mr. Cobb also added that “PRONicaragua’
