The theme of this year’s gala is “Bring Out the ‘Q’ in You.” There are many leaders in our community—individuals and companies—confronting societal and civic issues, promoting education or the arts, taking initiative, looking for innovative solutions, providing inspiration. All of these things strengthen the southwest Florida community. They show we are all capable of working toward our own goals in a spirit of integrity to the benefit of all of society. Quality Life Center works to instill values of discipline, responsibility and excellence to help develop future leaders. This year’s theme focuses on how working on our own personal excellence lifts us all. Two local business people will be honored at the gala: Martin Haas, President of Entech Computers and Tanya Cauren of Chico’s FAS. Both exemplify this sense of excellence and integrity, as well as a strong community spirit.
Quality Life Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization striving for personal and community transformation by developing the potential of underserved populations in southwest Florida with afterschool, family services and job development training.
