Infiniti announced that its sales in January totaled 7,126 units, representing an increase of 4.9% increase over January of 2012, when Infiniti sold 6,796. Ben Poore, vice president or Infiniti Americas, said, “Sales of Infiniti QX luxury SUV and Infiniti JX crossover continue to bring new shoppers into our showrooms,” something that’s very true when considered alongside the fact that those two vehicles largely drove the sales increase. The QX full-sized SUV experienced a 14.5% increase in sales to 1,168 units, while the JX added 1,970 in incremental sales. All in all, Infiniti luxury crossovers and SUVs experienced a sales increase of 71% for the month of January.
