Syracuse, New York, February 15, 2013 – IMS, Inc. (Immediate Mailing Services) announced today that it has acquired the mailing business and select equipment assets from layerONE Media (a D4, LLC (http://www.d4discovery.com/) company).

John D. Mashia, Jr., President and COO of IMS, indicated the purchase will provide expanded services to these businesses. “We are excited at the opportunity to provide our suite of innovative products and services to this valuable customer base”, Mr. Mashia said.

A seamless integration of layerONE Media’s customers will take place over the next 60 days.

John Holland, CEO of layerONE believes this acquisition by IMS, Inc., will be beneficial to their former customers, by providing enhanced technologies and service. “As D4 and layerOne’s core business has shifted away from these types of services, we wanted to make that our customer base would be transitioned to a reputable and well respected organization and will continue to receive the excellent customer service they have always known.
