LawnCare.net Announces New Scholarship Program For Sustainable Students

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 15, 2013 - LawnCare.net is excited to announce their first-ever $500 scholarship to an undergraduate student pursuing a career in sustainable botany, horticulture, landscape architecture, or a related field. As sustainable practices are the key to a healthy planet and thriving environmental service industry, it is increasingly important to support students who hold these values.

The scholarship will be awarded to a student who meets the criteria and shows outstanding potential to advocate for green practices in a future career. Applicants must be United States citizens or legal residents enrolled full-time at an accredited college, university, or trade school.

Timeline:

February 12: Applications begin to be accepted
July 1: Deadline
July 22: Scholarship recipient selected & notified
August 1: Scholarship recipient announced on LawnCare.net
