Durrenberger presented an award to the company’s 250th solar electric customer, David Fink of Melrose, at a Customer Appreciation Day on February 10; as well as to its first solar electric customer, Tom Sikina of Harvard; and the first ever customer, Liz Augustine of Maynard, who bought a solar hot water system from New England Clean Energy. Sikina is a repeat customer, having installed his first system on his home in Acton, and then a system on his new home when he moved to Harvard.
“Loyalty is a precious commodity in the home improvement business,” Durrenberger said. “We have extremely high customer satisfaction, which we work hard for, and we are loyal to our customers. They, in turn, are loyal to us and – even more important – to renewable energy and helping the planet. At a time when many out-of-state companies have moved into Massachusetts to take advantage of incentives here, it’s very gratifying to have so many people staying local when choosing a solar installer.”
New England Clean Energy designs, engineers and installs solar electric and solar hot water systems for homes and businesses. Mass Solar Info recently awarded the company five honors, including Highest Customer Satisfaction among Massachusetts solar installers.
