PRLog - Feb. 15, 2013 - RICHARDSON, Texas -- According to the Market Report - a publication of Scott Neal Home Selling Team - the number of homes for sale in Rockwall, TX was 250, down 9.9% from 275 in December. This is the 3rd consecutive month where the number of homes for sale decreased.
The average price of homes for sale was $302,562, which was up from $298,974 in December. Likewise the median price of homes for sale - the number at which half of the homes listed for sale were for more and half were for less - increased 2.87% to $249,337.
The high school in Rockwall with the highest average home listing prices was Heath High School.

- 2 bedroom - $147,857 - an increase of 2.3% from December
- 3 bedroom - $199,741 - an increase of 3.33% from December
- 4 bedroom - $350,022 - an increase of 0.62% from December
- 5 bedroom - $389,526 - a decrease of 0.92% from December
The average home for sale has 3 bedrooms and 2.72 bathrooms.
The high schools in Rockwall with the highest average home price were:

-Rockwall High School - $282,747
-Community High School - $220,000
