Senior foreman at Ormiston Wire retires after 47 years of service

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 15, 2013 - Amalio Martinez, the senior manufacturing foreman at Ormiston Wire (http://www.ormiston-wire.co.uk/), has retired after an impressive 47 years of service.  However, Amalio will continue to work onsite part-time as a factory foreman, employing the wealth of experience he has clocked up since joining the company in 1966.

Ormiston Wire has established this culture of continuity from the beginning; the specialist wire and braid manufacturing company was founded by James Ormiston in 1793 and six generations later the company is still led as an independent and family-run business by his descendant, Mark Ormiston.
