The FTTHomebox is one of the smallest fiber network termination boxes available in the market and comes with an integrated CATV module. This module enables service providers to offer a cost-effective basic cable-TV service, with the option to take additional internet and telephone services. This gives network operators another option against having to invest in costly IPTV platforms. Further internet and language services can be activated according to the end user´s requirements.
The FTTHomebox can accommodate up to 4 different splices and therefore supports all predetermined Open Access operator models both GPON and Active Ethernet (P2P). In addition, the FTTHomebox is supplemented by ELCON´s broad range of Fiber- and Ethernet Home-Gateway solutions.
ELCON´s new remote power system RPS10-100 allows for a more efficient powering of your street cabinets to address customer needs in certain areas. While connecting street cabinets with fiber, the remote powering can be done cost-effectively by re-using the existing copper infrastructure. The newest member of the Broadband Intelligent Gateway (BIG) product family is the BIG2762.It can be used for network termination in LTE/4G network extensions and for business customers.Equipped with 2-4 Gigabit WAN/LAN SFP
interfaces, it allows the opportunity to transfer large volumes of data for current and future applications.
The BIG 2762 is available as a fiber or VDSL2 version which saves operational costs by having a consistent management and just a one-time integration effort. Therefore Mobile Backhaul applications can be used in parallel with fiber and VDSL2.
