Follow on Google News | Huge name added to The Blizzard launch at Swansea's Dylan Thomas Centre on 16 MarchOne of the UK’s most well known football journalists has been added to the line up for the launch of football magazine The Blizzard at the Dylan Thomas Centre on 16 March.
By: City and County of Swansea Gabriele Marcotti who writes for media outlets including The Times, ESPN and The Wall Street Journal, will be one of the panel of the international journalists that will launch issue eight of the football magazine. He will join other sports journalists from the magazine such as Jonathan Wilson and Philippe Auclair as they host a Q&A. It will be compered by The Football Ramble's incomparable Marcus Speller. Blizzard editor Jonathan Wilson will also speak about his latest book, The Outsider – The History of the Goalkeeper, along with his views on that day's fixture where Swansea welcome Arsenal to The Liberty Stadium. There will also be the chance for the audience to put their questions to the panel on the footballing subjects of their choice and no doubt Swansea’s rise up the Premier League and Michael Laudrup’s influence is bound to come up. Jo Furber, Swansea Council’s Literature Officer said: "Not only are the Swans attracting football’s biggest names on the pitch, the Dylan Thomas Centre is attracting top names off the pitch. "The Blizzard is known as being a magazine where football journalists can write the stories that matter to them, which makes for fascinating reading.
