Replacing what used to be the location of McFadden's on 148 State Street, Stadium Sports Bar had their grand opening February 11, 2013. This new location has something for everyone, as the restaurant connects to a nightclub downstairs.
The Faneuil Hall location is 4500 square feet upstairs; the walls being lined with brick gives it a true Bostonian bar feel. Bricks aren't the only thing lining the walls; inside you will find an array of high-definition TVs showing the most hyped games accompanied by a well-crafted menu that is heavy on appetizers and signature American bar food. The food will mirror the high end pub food found at the other three locations in Waltham, Quincy, and South Boston. With daily specials like Stadium's $ .40 wings, half-price pizza and burgers, and 16 beers on draft, what sports fan could say no!
Stadium has all the right ingredients to bring in casual and hardcore sports fans alike. Not only do they offer a great, comfortable, social atmosphere but they have plenty of other things to draw in the crowds. They hold special events such as raffles and opportunities to meet sports stars. Stadium has weekly, no-cover live music evenings featuring the hottest local bands.
Downstairs will offer a nightclub atmosphere if that is more your scene; the club is called Safe. The area will offer the same square footage of 4,500square feet. It used to be a Federal Reserve Bank; the walls are filled with safety deposit boxes, creating a very unique atmosphere for you to mingle with your friends and party the night away.
The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner daily, 11:30am-2am. Downstairs will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. John Young, Regional Manager, is very excited for this new opening in the heart of it all, "You thought Faneuil Hall was the place to be before? Stadium Sports Bar is going to change the game."
