Exotic Slipcovers Launches New Website

Feb. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Exotic Slipcovers announced the launch of their new website. A talented team of web designers and graphic artists have been working on the site to get it just right. The site was built using the Magento ecommerce platform. The team was expecting to launch the company in mid-2012, but they thought it was missing something vital the customer needed. So they sat back down with their team of designers and decided to implement a color swatch feature on the website. This let the user scroll over the different colors/fabrics and imposed them onto a couch for better visualization. This was important because the company custom makes everything from scratch and does not keep inventory. So the team of graphic artists took the fabrics and manipulated them into a 3d view using Adobe Photoshop. Everyone was extremely happy with the final outcome of the site and feel this new tool will give customers a better shopping experience.

Officially launched in January 2013, Exotic Slipcovers creates custom made slipcovers and furniture throws for any sized furniture using the most unique fabrics from around the world. The company was formed because nobody out there was offering this kind of customization with these kinds of hard to find fabrics. The team has partnered up with Lush Livings, a company based out of Texas and California that offers custom made curtains, drapes, blinds, and pillows.  Currently Exotic Slipcovers is strictly an online company and at this point has no intentions on openings a physical storefront. They currently import fabrics from all over the world but focuses on using fabrics from India.
