The formal wear and accessories drive will feature live music provided by Tim Stambaugh and Friends, complimentary Hors D'Oeuvres, and a 10% discount (up to $100) on Pittsboro Roadhouse food and non-alcoholic drinks, for those who bring a donation .
Sponsored by the Pittsboro Baptist Church and funded by a grant from the Women of Fearrington, Cinderella's Closet of Chatham County NC focuses on giving high school juniors and seniors who are referred by their school or an appropriate organization an amazing prom experience.
"We are thrilled that we can help Cinderella's Closet of Chatham County," said Greg Lewis, owner of the Pittsboro Roadhouse. Maria Parker-Lewis, his wife added, "I know how important proms are for high school students. Getting the formal wear can be very expensive, so we hope people will join us and give generously."
Kathy Hotelling, the Chair for Cinderella's Closet of Chatham County said, "As we approach our third annual Cinderella's Closet event we are overwhelmed by the support we're getting from Chatham County."
"We are grateful to so many," Hotelling continued, " including the Pittsboro Roadhouse; The Women of Fearrington, Inc., who provided our initial grant; the Pittsboro Baptist Church; Briar Chapel residents; the Triangle Training Center; and all of our Chatham County friends and neighbors. You have contributed everything from dresses to storage facilities and dry cleaning to help us provide a memorable experience for the girls who participate in the Cinderella's Closet event."
The items that Cinderella's Closet is collecting on February 21st are:

• Formal Purses
• Formal Jewelry, and
• Monetary Donations
Donations can be delivered all month and through March 6, 2013 at the Pittsboro Roadhouse, and numerous other locations in Chatham County, including these:

The Pittsboro Roadhouse & General Store http://www.pittsbororoadhouse.com opened its doors on August 17, 2012, in the space previously known as The General Store Cafe, at 39 West Street, to the West of Courthouse Circle.
