Laguna Hills, CA - Excellicon Inc., an innovative provider of Timing Constraints Analysis and Debugging solutions for the automation of constraints authoring, completion, and validation, announced a partnership program with BaySand Inc., a provider of Metal Configurable Standard Cell (MCSC) technology and products, to address the complexity of timing constraints development and management for the benefit of both companies’ customers.

This partnership was formed to address the issue of multiple iterations between design and implementation teams, in which the timing constraints (SDC) design and validation are often culprit for delays in product delivery schedules. BaySand’s customers now have access to Excellicon tools that allow them to eliminate unnecessary iterations while ensuring a correct-by-construction set of timing constraints to accompany the design implementation.  The users of Excellicon tools can start from scratch or leverage existing timing constraints files in order to take advantage of the MCSC products to achieve a shorter time-to-market.  Customers can seamlessly generate a comprehensive set of timing constraints files in parallel with the implementation efforts managed by BaySand.
