Humber Street in Hull was full of fruit traders, but now this historic street will be filled with live music this Saturday to show Fruit Trade Music’s new home. The recording studio in East Yorkshire is open for use, and also provides rehearsal space.
The whole street and community have been helping out to make sure everything runs smoothly for the Saturday launch, including Arnold Laver. Some of the acts confirmed for Saturday include Eskimo Party, The Colour Line, Counting Coins and more, as well as street performers. The event is running from 12:00pm until 22:00pm. Fruit Trade Music is a huge change from using their own garage as the venue, and with the support of local businesses like Arnold Laver it is ready to attract bands and musicians.
