URALCHEM becomes the largest Russian producer of ammonia

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 14, 2013 - In 2012, URALCHEM became the largest Russian producer of ammonia. The supporting data was published in the annual report of the Russian Scientific Research and Design Institute of Nitrogen and Organic Synthesis Industry (GIAP). In 2012, the Company manufactured a total of 2,781,877 tons of ammonia, which was 3% higher than in 2011 (including production from the Minudobrenia enterprise in Perm).

In 2012, URALCHEM increased the production of most of its main commodity products. The total output reached 6.024 million tons, up 2% from the previous year. The production of diammonium phosphate (DAP) grew by 64%. The production of complex fertilizers (NPK) increased by 8%. The production of ammonia and urea grew by 7% and 5% respectively.
