MMESpain have been promoting property in Spain for over 10 years, and have seen an increase of enquiries for the 3rd year running during 2012.
"Demand for Spanish property during 2012 increased by over 30% over enquiries in 2011", said owner Mike Price. "Prices have remained low, and in some cases fallen over the previous year, so the possibility of buying a cheap property in Spain still remains within most people's reach. We have some fantastic bargain Spanish property available, whether it be bank repossessions or direct sales from owners."
"Bank repossessed property is still high on people's search list, mainly because of the perceived cheap prices, but buying from a bank can be difficult, they are banks and not estate agents, and do not have the knowledge, experience or flexibility that you will find from an estate agent and a direct sale."
"The areas that we cover are Costa Calida, Murcia and Costa Blanca. Prices in these regions are still low compared to 5 or 6 years ago, in some cases 70% below what they were selling for then. We have golf property that was once on sale for €200,000 now offered at €48,000."
2013 is set to be another great year for Spanish estate agents, with demand and sales set to increase once again.
