Foreign Distributors Seeking American Brands at Miami Int'l Boat Show

Feb. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- The Miami International Boat Show attracts more than the local boating enthusiast. Marine part distributors from the Caribbean, Central America and South America will fall upon the Miami Beach Convention Center on February 14th-18th looking for American manufacturers and their products. Manufacturers often prefer to use a representative such as E&P Marine for international sales because they are familiar with distributors, logistics and speak their language.

Distributors can range from large scale distribution networks to a sole store on the banks of the Amazon serving 200 miles of river. Powerboat Marine from Puerto Rico buys Ritchie Navigation compasses, JJ Marino from Columbia and IBC from Santo Domingo will both purchase Sudbury Boat Care products, Ferreteria Zaragoza from Mexico is always interested in Samson Rope. Oh, and Baron from Argentina wants to buy port lights and hatches made by HiTide Manufacturing." The list goes on and on. Demand is strong for quality items, especially marine products that have to withstand harsh environments. E&P Marine expects to meet with over 70 manufacturers from overseas at the show.

It's not only distributors looking for U.S. manufacturers, it's also foreign boat manufacturers (aka OEMs) looking for parts to install on their vessels. E&P Marine represents a wide assortment of marine products; practically everything that goes on a leisure boat.
