PRLog - Feb. 13, 2013 - HILO, Hawaii -- HPM has offered the annual Barney S. Fujimoto Memorial Scholarships, which recognize achievement and promote excellence, for more than 30 years now. “My father (Barney) died at the fairly young age of 50,” explains his son and current Chairman of the Board, Bobby Fujimoto. “Since he was one of the builders of this company and strongly believed in higher education, back in the early 1970’s we thought it would be more than appropriate to establish a scholarship in his memory.”
