The PlasmaTact - as the product line will be known - is currently in the design stages and will be manufactured in-house in the UK. We expect to be able to accept orders in Q2. Our R&D Manager, Mr. Takuya Urayama, who leads the project, has also played a major role in our other successful plasma projects; the MicroPlaSter and the NanoPlaSter.

The concept for PlasmaTact is to develop a product which will be compact enough for use in a wide range of environments, yet more powerful than our previous products of the same size. We expect it to be used for: Sterilisation, Surface Activation (for example; changing the properties of surfaces to become hydrophobic or hydrophilic)
Non-thermal plasma offers the chance to perform such treatments in a way that is: clean, repeatable, does not rely on chemicals and safe - even for sensitive materials as the treatment temperature will not exceed 40 degrees Celsius.
