Andrew and Donna Woolley, and their two boys, had struggled to find a property to replace their cottage which they had lived in for 16 years. As the boys grew, space was becoming a key priority and they knew that they needed a new solution – fast.
Andrew comments: “Our cottage had been on and off the market for years and we had spent a great deal of time looking for our next home which we just hadn’t been able to find.
“We needed a property with space in a semi-rural area and yet close to Abergavenny – a pipe dream, we thought.”
The family knew of Linden’s Coed Y Brenin development and had literally watched it take shape from the garden centre it once was.
Andrew adds: “Donna viewed the development first and then convinced me to take a look. We took the children along with us, viewed the show home and when we heard about Linden’s Part-Exchange scheme – which meant we could move in a matter of weeks, stress-free – we made the decision there and then.
“The development ticked all the boxes for us in terms of space, layout, location and its overall feel. The deciding factor was very much the fact that with Part Exchange, the sale of our old home was taken care of. We simply had to concentrate on packing up and moving straight in to our new home.”
Just eight weeks later, the family had moved in and was enjoying life in their brand-new home.
Adrian Bird, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes Western, comments: “Part Exchange is a cost-effective and effortless way to move, particularly for busy families who have very little time to invest in the buying and selling process.
“With our scheme, purchasers can buy and sell in one quick, easy and hassle-free move. We use local estate agents to carry out valuations and our Part Exchange offer of 100-per-cent market value is made within seven days. There is no chain and no estate agents fees for buyers to pay – we take care of everything.”
Andrew concludes: “We’re delighted with our new Linden home; it has everything we could wish for, in a perfect location.”
