Since April 18, 2002, Chi Beta Omega, affectionately known as "CBO," has undertaken a meaningful program of service to the City of Falls Church, the Greater Washington region, and the international community. The chapter supports the national program targets of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Chi Beta Omega participates in the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service through voluntarism at various Falls Church community centers and churches. The chapter supports women's health and breast cancer advocacy by participating in the National Race for the Cure as well as holding various informational symposiums. Chi Beta Omega has continued its support of the Bailey’s Crossroads Shelter and James Lee Community Center through annual donations of clothing and toiletries. In 2012, Chi Beta Omega partcipated in Our Daily Bread's Holiday Program, providing two familes in the Falls Church community with Thanksgiving Baskets. The chapter held its 9th Annual Homeless Shoebox Toiletry Collection providing toiletries to the residents of Patrick Henry Family Shelter.
