A phase I usually begins with a historic record search, review of historic fire maps and a aerial photograph review. In addition other data sources and possible door to door canvasing of the neighborhood are used to collect site history information . Recently during a Phase I for a commercial lender, Environmental Systems(depenvirosystems.com) identified gas pumps on aerial photograph of a shopping center in Middlesex County.
