We have recently announced the revealing of our new sims550 project which will allow our international customers to log in and view their design process and allow them to submit changes instantly. This excellent revelation is credited to our Chief Engineer: Allen Desroisers.
In upcoming events, we have a trade show scheduled for June 6, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV for the revealing of the Sims 550. We have many new features that will be demonstrated and are excited at the prospects of revenue reported by year end. Our team consists of 15 highly energetic employees ranging from Engineers, Marketing, Accounting experts and business gurus with the know-how on bridging the gap of excellence and quality.
New responsibilities are in place for Mark A Lizotte (Accounting Analyst) which are increasing speed of receivables by implementing a newly database that has been fine tuned to share transfer abilities for financial statements and to allow real time adjustments with outstanding credit and debit memos. Mark will put in place a new processes that will automatically generate aging reports once DSO is triggered due to an increase or decrease in receivables.
Also updated as well is a questions and answer section from a recent online interview. We have released these as well which we feel would answer more of the concerning questions as our business continues to grow:
What industries have prospered and which ones might have suffered because of the growth of the Internet? Why?
Online stores have prospered because of the Internet they didn't exist before, the closest comparison would be catalog sales which did not make up a large part of retail. The post office has suffered enormously because of the internet because people pay bills online now and do not need stamps.
Are there more client computers or more server computers on the Internet?
There are more client computers on the Internet. Every transaction through a server computer would be able to handle many clients at the same time.
Why is it important to know the right word in information technology?
IT is filled with computer jargon that is impractical in normal conversation but necessary when speaking in or about computers. When communicating in IT specific words must be used to convey the proper message, some words in IT have different meanings than in normal a vocabulary, therefore, if the right words in normal conversation are used instead of the right words in IT, the message can be confusing.
What are the benefits of "clicking around" and "blazing away" when exploring new programs?
Clicking around is the method of learning what each button or command does simply through random selection. It's a way of familiarizing yourself with the function of a command without actually reading instructions, which with IT designer's use of metaphors and consistency, is a fairly easy way to figure out how to navigate and operate your computer.
Blazing away is what a person does once they've clicked around and become familiar with commands and wants to dig deeper than just a simple click to scroll down or push print. Blazing away is selecting a menu drop down and clicking on the first thing that looks interesting, mine was hyperlink, sounds good. What's that do? Browsed Pages, I'll try that. Click Ok, well isn't that handy!
Give an analogy that shows how TCP/IP works.
It's like having a painting that you want to send to someone in S. America and you live in Canada. You cut your painting into a hundred pieces, address and label each piece. Then attach each piece to an individual bird of a flock that is migrating South, stay with me now, that flock flies and changes places in the flock, they stop in city parks along the way, roost on roof tops here and there and eventually make it to S. America all in the same place. Your someone is there and each obedient little bird drops off its piece of the painting and the friend puts the puzzle back together to form the original painting.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of primary and secondary sources in research?
The fundamental advantage of Primary Sources is that the information you're gathering is coming from personal experience of the source. This information is unadulterated and unbiased by public opinions.
A disadvantage is that the information is limited to the sources perception of the event or events, and ability to relay the information.
An advantage of Secondary Sources is that the information gathered helps to complete our understanding of the subject by answering the questions generated by the Primary Sources version of the story, and by giving different views of what happened and allowing us to develop our own conclusions.
The disadvantage would be the Secondary Sources possibly biased opinions, deletions from the story and personal views might distort the story. Secondary sources, while useful to a point, are not the best choice for initial research.
Why is using XML a good approach for building a database with personal data, compared to a relational database?
XML is good for personal databases because it is much more flexible, in that your information can take on a more individualized and less sterile look. XML allows customizing of the tags to suit the user, which also allows for privacy, and you can add pictures, URL’s, videos and so on, the look isn't necessarily just a ledger but a page out of a diary or scrap book. The relational databases are more regimented in the typical row and column look with tags that are more common, which makes it less secure and private.
Coffee Cup Web Design was around before the internet broke ground and we were just designers of logos and brochures and helping with challenging marketing projects. We have seen the rise of technology and the exponential growth that has happened with us. Without our employees, we would just be an average company. With our employees, we are now considered one of the most sought after designing experts when it comes to hard to manage web site fabrication.
