Vistage Michigan to Host 2013 Economic Summit, Mar. 14

Feb. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Economist Alan Beaulieu will be the featured speaker at the 2013 Vistage Michigan Economic Summit on Mar. 14 at The Inn at St. John’s located at 44045 Five Mile Rd. in Plymouth.

The event takes place from 8 a.m. to noon. Business Leaders of Michigan President and CEO Doug Rothwell opens programming with an update on the Michigan Turnaround Plan – “The Road to a New Michigan.”

Beaulieu follows Rothwell for the keynote presentation, “Fiscal Reality,” which takes a look at what is really going on in the Michigan, U.S. and global markets that impact our industry.  The discussion also provides the economic outlook for the global economy with the clarity that business leaders have come to expect.

Beaulieu is a principal of the ITR Economics where he serves as President. Since 1990, he has been consulting with companies throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia on how to forecast, plan and increase their profits based on business cycle trend analysis. Beaulieu also is a senior economic advisor to the National Association of Wholesalers-Distributors (NAW), contributing editor for Industry Week, and chief economist for Heating, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI).

Alan is co-author, along with his brother Brian, of the book “Make Your Move,” and has written numerous articles on economic analysis. He makes up to 150 appearances each year, and his keynotes and seminars have helped thousands of business owners and executives capitalize on emerging trends.
