BackUpSun releases new single "Feeling Home"

Feb. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Mark Lazar always dreamed that one day, he would be a star in the that would make an impact in the music industry.  With guitar in hand, Mark headed off to Hollywood California, as many do to get discovered and achieve his dream of becoming that superstar filled with fame and fortune.  Head strong and focused, he refused to take 'no' for an answer.  In 2011 Mark met Trevor McCracken, a US Navy-veteran songwriter and guitarist.  Together they developed an impressionistic way to create music and named their new group BackUpSun. Their goal is to take their music to a larger and diverse audience and achieve worldwide recognition.  

Their hard worked began to take shape and they wrote and recorded new songs.  They are currently working on their debut CD and are excited to pre-release their single "Feeling Home" as a true indicator to the depth of their writing style and their vision as musicians and as songwriters.  

True to who Mark truly is, "Feeling Home" depicts his journey through the music business and the time spent away from his family and friends chasing after his ultimate goal.  Clearly knowing the difficulties getting ahead, his focus and determination was just as strong back then as it is today all the while his family has always been in his mind.  The song's rhythm is brought to audiences by a quick based tempo giving it a sense of motion.  The vocals are dramatic, emotional with a rough edge to it giving the song a layered, textured feel.

BackUpSun's writing style is utilizing catchy melodies with lyrical magic and great sing-able riffs. Their music is magnetic and irresistible giving audiences a refreshing new pop/rock sound.  You can count on plenty great storylines based on their life experiences, written with perfection maximizing the impact to audience's enjoyment.  "Since That Day" is set for release in May, 2013.  

They have just completed a performance at the House of Blues and received great reviews.  Fans raved over their great fresh new sound.
