NEW YORK, NY — The national law firm of Goldman & Schapiro, P.A. announced the addition of Jason Y. Goodstein to the firm’s New York office, who will be bringing his national real estate practice to the firm.  Jason was previously with Tratner, Molloy & Goodstein LLP.

Jason is a renowned transactional attorney, litigator and counselor to companies and individuals.  In his decade and a half of practice, he has represented clients in connection with the acquisition, leasing, financing, development and disposition of office buildings, residential multi-family developments, commercial and residential real estate, as well as other acquisitions (including stock and asset sales) and general corporate and business matters.  

Jason regularly advises major lending institutions, private investors and borrowers in the origination and lending of mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, construction loans and unsecured revolving credit facilities.  He also represents individuals and companies in connection with real estate and commercial litigation.

Before joining Goldman & Schapiro, Jason worked at Tratner, Molloy & Goodstein LLP, where he was active in all areas of the firm's real estate practice, including purchase and sale transactions, real estate loans, leases, development and financing, partnerships and joint ventures, as well as in the firm's real estate and commercial litigation practice.  Jason received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and his BA, Magna Cum Laude, from Touro College.
