Under the contract, Maria Todd, MHA PhD, author of the Managed Care Contracting Handbook, 2nd edition, the Physician Employment Contract Handbook, 2nd edition, and Physician Integration and Alignment, IPAs, PHOs, MSOs, ACOs and Beyond, will conduct four days of consecutive training assisted by Scott Frankum, MBA, author of The Well Report - Consumer Guide to the Accountable Care Act for 2013.
Todd, who taught her signature 2-day managed care contract analysis and negotiation course for the Healthcare Management Association national education clusters from 1995 until 2009, and for the McGraw Hill Healthcare Education Group and many national associations and integrated health delivery systems customized this course for Cleveland Clinic. Frankum will add interactive negotiation war games exercises to the class activities on the last day after the the participants have concluded didactic sessions.
