New Boutique in Wilmington Offers “Fancy” Accessories for “Belles” of All Ages
Independent shop will have its grand opening at Tickled Pink in Lumina Station on February 22
Wilmington, N.C. – Fancy Belle's Boutique is welcoming shoppers in the area to attend its grand opening at 1904 Eastwood Road on Friday, February 22 from 4 to 8 PM. With special gifts and light hors d'oeuvres for everyone in attendance, owner Tanya Fermin-Jones is excited to display her handmade hair accessories to a larger audience.
“It's been a dream to open my own store and sell the crafts that I created with my own hands,” Fermin-Jones said, excited that she's also joining a unique marketplace. “Plus, I'm happy to be involved with Tickled Pink, where my hair accessories will be associated with quality work from other local artisans.”
Her store will offer a large selection of elegant and unique hair accessories, such as handmade bows, headbands and hair clips, which are made specifically for women, infants and young girls. Fancy Belle's will also sell flower pins to complement any hair style or outfit. The business concept was inspired by the owner's infant daughter who was born prematurely.
“When Braelynn was born early, it was difficult to find any hair accessories that would fit her,” Fermin-Jones explained. “So I decided to take the initiative and try to make them myself. I was shocked at how many people started to ask me where I bought Braelynn's accessories.”
Fancy Belle's, available at FancyBellesBoutique.com, will be opening at Tickled Pink, in Lumina Station at 1904 Eastwood Road, about 500 feet west of First Citizens Bank. Tickled Pink is a specialized retail store that allows local designers and artists to showcase their talents, creations and abilities in its 3,300-square foot location.
