Nick Philko Joins Medtipster.com As Regional Sales Manager

Feb. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Medtipster, the company behind the online generic drugs search engine and price comparator Medtipster.com, is proud to announce the addition of Nick Philko as Regional Sales Manager. In his new role, Philko will be responsible for sales of Medtipster’s alternative pharmacy network (APN) and generic drugs optimization product to self-funded employers, third party administrators, pharmacy benefit managers and insurance companies in the Midwestern United States.

Philko brings more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the insurance industry to Medtipster. Philko started his insurance career with Aetna as a broker representative where he excelled very quickly. In 2001 Nick joined LSG Insurance Partners, one of Michigan’s largest independent insurance firms, managing large client sales and retention for nearly 10 years.

Nick has been a member of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan’s Agent Advisory Council for numerous years and enjoys many key contacts within the healthcare industry. Previously, Nick has also worked for the Willis Health Care Practice and The Paychex Insurance Agency in similar roles.

Philko received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and received his Life and Health Insurance license from the state of Michigan. He currently resides with his wife and two daughters in Huntington Woods, Michigan.
