CEO Antranik Kabajouzian of Bay Area Equity Group recently learned about the program, and decided to use the offices of Bay Area Equity Group as a collection point for the used cell phones. “The trials and tribulations of service men and women find headlines in the media from time to time, but what happens when the media focuses their attention elsewhere? We still have soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other parts of the world that need our support” says Mr. Kabajouzian. Bay Area Equity Group has been an annual supporter of the Campbell Veterans Memorial Foundation, and has hosted a barbeque and car show in an effort to raise money for the charity for the past two years. “I and the staff at Bay Area Equity Group are committed to helping our armed forces at every stage in their careers - both during service and after being discharged.”
Participation in Cell Phones for Soldiers appears to be a perfect match with Bay Area Equity Group’s ongoing civic program, Bay Area Bridges. Bay Area Bridges was first launched in December of 2012 with the goal of creating an assistance program for anyone in need. The program requires a proposal to be submitted for review, and resources are allocated based on a review of the individuals or organization’
