By: Kru Strength + Fitness Kruvand was the anchor of the Panthers' defense from 1994 to '97, amazingly playing every minute of every game in her four-year career - the only women’s soccer player in school history to achieve this accolade. During her senior season, Milwaukee allowed just 12 goals in 20 matches, good for a 0.55 goals-against average that ranks second in program history. She was a key defender in Milwaukee's rise to the top of the Horizon League/Midwestern Collegiate Conference, a spot they haven't given up since Kruvand's graduation. A three-time First Team All-Midwestern Collegiate Conference honoree (1995, 1996, 1997) and NSCAA third-team all-region selection in those same three seasons, Kruvand was also an MCC All-Newcomer and All-MCC Second-Team honoree in her freshman year. Kruvand's No. 22 was retired in 2001 and she was named to the program's all-time team as part of its 25th anniversary celebration in 2008.
