Feb. 10, 2013 - A Clarence "KD" McNair vision, EQ Enterprises' New York Fashion Week Kickoff Party was a designer-focused, fashion forward celebration at the beautiful XL Nightclub (512 W. 42nd St.). The massive event combined beauty and fashion media, tastemakers, and industry executives to start NYFW off with a bang. Celebrities in attendance included cast members from MTV's 'Jersey Shore,' actor Malik Yoba, champion boxer Zab Judah, singer Tracy Gayle, and model/actress, Jessica Caban-- Bruno Mars' girlfriend. 'Boy Meets Girl' founder and creative director Stacy Igel graced the red carpet, as did Grammy Award nominee and Latino Inaugural Ball performer Frankie Negron, and singer/songwriter/
producer Jay Reezy. Reezy is a member of the hit songwriting team "The Office," spearheaded by Bryan-Michael Cox. The Kickoff Party's featured fashion designers were Bronson J., and Candice Williams, whose 'Abeyo Marqz' line was famously donned by Nicki Minaj in her MAC 'Viva Glam' lipglass promotional appearance in London. Eye-catching jewelry was on display from the biggest online accessories store, Lola Fashion Accessories, and owner Stacie Stewart looked fabulous in a midriff-baring, high fashion ensemble. The industry's elite were out in numbers, including Victoria's Secret makeup artists, celebrity hairstylist and entrepeneur Rachel Thompson of 'Celebuton Hair,' and many other trendsetters. The Allocated Formula Group, Plevé by Ron Rizzo, Instinct Magazine, The Out NYC, and Lifebeat Music Fights HIV/AIDS collaborated with EQ Enterprises to make the official NYFW Kickoff Party a legendary event.
