PRLog - Feb. 10, 2013 - Baby boomers and many younger Americans worried about the lack of money in their savings accounts are turning to day trading for their future.

Many Older Americans worried about running out of money in their golden years and many younger adults worried about the job market in the future are utilizing an innovative investment strategy: Day Trading With Momentum as taught by the TIE Institute.

Disillusioned with the conventional buy-and-hold approach, investors are anxious to improve their retirement prospects after three punishing market crashes in the last 15 years.

Retirement funds according to a 2010 analysis by the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College shows Americans are a collective $6.6 billion short of the amount they need to retire comfortably.

"Baby Boomers taking the TIE Institute courses are saying, I'm that much closer to retirement so I have to do something." all in a bid to make up for lost time. Others in their 30s are watching their parents reach retirement without the funds they expected and deciding there has to be a better way.

Smart investors are looking for a direction that puts them in more control of their own finances. Some individuals are day trading the Futures market, while others are venturing into options. According to TIE Institute officials all can be traded safely utilizing the “Day Trading With Momentum Strategies” taught in their live online course.

That mentality prompted Melanie a 39-year-old Minneapolis computer programmer to start day trading her investment/retirement accounts last year. She has as one of her goals to retire early. But after watching her investments and her home value get pulverized in the last bear market, she fears that another nose-dive in the stock market will wreak havoc with her plans.

"I don’t see a lot of returns using the buy-and-hold method, she said. Adding that the buy and hold method is a thing of the past, the world moves much faster today and to grow your capital you have to adapt with the fast paced world.”

Trading online from anywhere in the world was not even possible 20 years ago to the general public. Today you can trade from anywhere as long as you have a computer and are hooked to the internet.

According To the Trading & Investment Education Institute (http://www.safedaytrading.org/) “Learning to day trade is not easy, it does take some time and some effort but it is doable if you have the desire and discipline.”

The T.I.E. Institute teaches their students how to effectively day trade options.  Risk is dramatically lowered and easily controlled but the rewards can be astounding. They have seen returns weekly of 100% - 300% on specific option trades and there is the monthly home run where returns have been over 1000% in a single day. A prime example is the recent move on Netflix, TIE instructor called the option live on an intraday session and everyone watched him gain over 3000% on a $500.00 dollar investment.  $15,000.00 not a bad day at the office!
