Condensation of water in the glass of windows.

QUESTION :
On the lower level from the inside of my PVC window water condenses. What is the reason this is happening ? What can I do to prevent this?

ANSWER:
You just received your windows , finally installed them and they look absolutely beautiful in your home. Temperatures start changing , seasons are among us spring to fall or winter to spring And the one thing we can not change starts happening. Evaporation phenomenon is a physical process .

This window phenomenon is usually observed in the spring and autumn when there is higher humidity and larger temperature differences indoor and outdoor. Just because this is happening it does not indicate a defect in either glass or windows.

When the relative humidity in a room exceeds 60% of the temperature difference inside , it is not a surprise windows can show condensation. This is a natural phenomenon which has nothing to do with the quality of the window. Periodically , it is very possible for condensation to build up either on the inside or outside of the window.
The formation of water on the glass window is related to several factors.

The most common cause is high swellturing temperatures in the summer months and not enough ventilation in the home for the heat to leave. Usually happening in the months of May-August , we recommend for your home to be systematically ventilated . Any excess humidity in the home should be drained out. Otherwise when you allow an increase in humidity in the building you are raising the temperature of condensation.

Another reason this could be happening is it could be the middle of winter where the outside has low temperatures causing you to heat your interior.  This can form patches on the inner surface which can seem similar to frost.  This could also mean you may have a problem with the insulation in your home.

In these types of situations we recommend an intervention with either the company who installed any heating or cooling systems as well as the company who installed your windows.
