Feb. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- A post graduate in Business Administration having studied at St. Xavier's High School Patna, his intuitive interest for sports as well as the environment led him to attain a Diploma in Sports Management as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Ecology & Environment. Roy's versatility earned him an M. Phil in Sports Science. Sudhanshu Shekhar Roy was awarded his Doctorate in Complimentary Medicine from the Open International University after years of research in that untouched field.

A keen Sportsman himself he brought Baseball to the youth of his home state three decades ago. He has earned the distinction of being a successful Sports Administrator.

Born in Varanasi, Roy while setting up the SAI  Centre in Manipur way back in 1988 till date has brought in a convivial environment through his productive sports initiatives  in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu & UT of Pondicherry. An outstanding sportsman himself, Sudhanshu has many National and International achievements to his credit. Roy was chosen to represent India in Asian Baseball Championship held at Tokyo.He is the recipient of the prestigious International Award of Honor from Lama Gangechen World Peace Foundation, Milano (Italy) and the International Understanding Award from the National Institute of Sports and Community Development, India.

Roy has widely traveled during his  absorbing tenure with SAI. He was the Government Observer for the 2010 Asian Games, Guangzhou China, 2009 Asian Indoor Games Vietnam, and 2006 Commonwealth Games Melbourne.

Dr. Roy is all set to share his subjective experiences translated into rhapsodies woven around his passionate world  through his new book, Shikaayatein--this mien of him known till now to only his intimate ones.

While traversing globally Roy found himself dwelling deep into his  unimitated creative cocoon with naivety, albeit tenacity. Combating the constant battle within his inner emotions, he penned lines/words on the little space available on boarding cards, bookmarks, any piece of paper at hand! An unidentified vivacity at times grim, would produce inspirational couplets, at another occasion a labyrinth of feelings.

"Have I evolved into a trou-ba-dour?" mused Dr. Roy when his daughters wistfully configured the pieces of paper together into a prolific bind..He pondered on the pieces of his writings and soon found that most of them could be modified in bits and woven into "Shikayatein" a collection of sentient verses pouring from the heart to be shared only between his loved ones. He had not thought about getting them published. It is with the initiative and encouragement of the Power Publishers that this promising work has been published, for the poetry lovers to savour.
