Jason Corder Music Video"lovin' This Home Hits Africa Market"

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 8, 2013 - Corder was born in San Francisco, CA, USA in 1969 and has been based in Kenya for over 5 years.  He is well known here as an actor in film in TV, as a visual artist and now as a singer with a unique style, mixing pop, rock, soft rock and afro-fusion.

On Jan 26th Corder launched his first music video in Kenya for the song "Lovin This Home," a punchy and melodic pop-rock song about organizing your life and focusing on yourself.  The video, made by the award-winning animator and artist, Kwame Nyong'o, shows the youth of Kenya in a positive light and the creative spirit of the country as alive and thriving.

Corder has been singing and writing songs for 25 years, having released his first LP in the USA in 2004, entitled "Reptile Land."  He followed this release with the single "Dream On" in 2007.  Both releases can be found on iTunes, along with the new single "Lovin This Home."

Corder is known for his collaborations with local artists including Patricia Kihoro, Kevin Samuel and MC Kah.  He also has plans to work with Just A Band, P Unit and Sub Sahara artists.  The video for "Lovin This Home" is already making a big impact in Nairobi, having been featured on XFM, having been launched at Kuona Trust and at Mercury ABC by David Murithi, and is quickly going viral on YouTube.  Corder is now gigging regularly, organizing his own shows with Nyong'o, giving the events their own unique artist flair.http://youtu.be/2TymNyIVuWQ




His songs are extremely catchy and explore universal themes of love, creativity and the beauty of life on Earth.  He and Nyong'o are already working on the follow up hit and video for the song "Stay," to be released in early May 2013.
