National Christian Foundation Tampa Bay Launches New Program Mission Increase

Feb. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- TAMPA, FL February 7, 2013 – National Christian Foundation Tampa Bay has named David Brownlee as area director for its new program entitled Mission Increase Foundation (MIF).  MIF will provide free training and consulting for hundreds of area nonprofits to help improve their organizational effectiveness and fundraising prowess.  In addition, MIF will make dozens of major grants typically ranging from $15,000-25,000 each year to the same local charities.  MIF and NCF seek to increase the mission of all nonprofits by teaching transformational giving principles through a combination of workshops, seminars and personal consultations.

Brownlee previously served as Chief Operating Officer of the Tampa-based LCM Group, Inc., an investment management and wealth advisory firm, where he was one of the founding partners. Brownlee brings management experience from both publicly and privately held companies as well as from the nonprofit sector. He has lived in Tampa for 22 years and during that time served on a number of nonprofit boards, including the Tampa Metro YMCA, Young Life and the National Christian Foundation Tampa Bay.

Brownlee is a member of Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church where he has served in the areas of Christian education and missions. He attended the University of Michigan, graduating with a degree in Economics. He is married to Debbie and has two adult daughters who currently live in the Northeast.
