EVO Celebrity Dinner Sold Out Success

Monday February 4, EVO played host to a sold our crowd for a Celebrity Chef Dinner to benefit the UMASS Colorectal Cancer Fund. Celebrity Chef Barry Sexton, Food Network cooked alongside Exec.Chef Albert Maykel III.
 
Feb. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Monday February 4, EVO played host to a sold our crowd for a Celebrity Chef Dinner to benefit the UMASS Colorectal Cancer Fund. Celebrity Chef Barry Sexton, Food Network,  cooked alongside Exec.Chef Albert Maykel III.
Chef Maykel was just named Worcester's Best Chef during a competition held at Mechanics Hall in Worcester on January 27th, 2013.
The Menu:  
Maine Lobster Bisque

Island Spiced Jerk Chicken

Wild Mushroom & Cheese Ravioli
Braised Pork Fore Shank
Warm Apple, Pear & Dried Fruit Strudel

Grilled Flank of Venison & Baby Bella Mushrooms & Merlot Bordelaise
Crown Linen, CEO, George Spilios, was a guest and presented Chef Maykel and Chef Sexton with custom chef coats to mark the occasion. Guests were entertained by Clark University Clark Bars and Sommelier Christine Zecker emceed the event and wine pairing during the dinner. Chef Maykel's Valentine's Day Menu has just been revealed as well on facebook, and will be available on EVO Dining's web site www.evodining.com. For reservations contact 508-459-4240. Chef Maykel is offering the special Valentine's Day Menu from February 14-16, 2013.
