Why Two Frustrated Women Hand-Picked An International Panel to Help Local Entrepreneurs

Feb. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Local Women Entrepreneurs face many business struggles that contribute to their failure to flourish. One of the most damaging to their growth is the inability to effectively market their services. In order to fill this gap two women assembled an international panel to teach women authentic techniques for boosting their bottom line.
“As professional coaches we were seeing large numbers of women entrepreneurs who were uncomfortable with the marketing information readily available to them,” says, Connect-Love-Thrive.com Co-Host Marjorie Walker. “And because they feel mainstream marketing information is too salesy or too hypey they avoid it. But the unfortunate side effect is their businesses wither. That’s why we took it upon ourselves to do something on a mass scale, and the result is our Free Speaker Series called Connect-Love-Thrive.com.”

This free event address many aspects of marketing that may at first look seem unusual. For example, speaker Dana Garrison, a former therapist and current International Business Coach, is teaching women how to undo the blocks formed from their family entanglements. “At first glance family issues don’t seem to have much to do with marketing,” states Walker, “but it is our experience that women are wired holistically, so when their personal issues are addressed their business reaps the benefits.”

Another speaker, Jonathan Bender, professional actor, director and Intuitive Business Strategist is teaching women how to authentically connect to one’s clients. “Jonathan’s information is so valuable because it is the missing piece for so many women business owners. Their businesses are an extension of their life purpose, but that sometimes causes obstacles when crafting something as simple as the traditional ‘elevator speech’” explains Walker.
