The new On Track! Responsibility and Behavior System for pre-teens ages 8-years-old and up incorporates household chores, daily to-do lists, family rules and money management into skills they need to become responsible adults. A pocketed caddy makes it convenient to display on walls, doors or other common areas. It includes an instructional guide and worksheets to help families work together and teaches children organizational skills, accountability and self-reliance.
“As parents, our goal is to raise kids to be responsible, caring adults by teaching them to be accountable for their own actions,” says Jennifer Edmundson, a mother of three who founded Kenson Kids in 2006 with her friend and neighbor Jennifer Kent. “The On Track! Responsibility and Behavior System helps eliminate the biggest parental mistakes — giving too many warnings, getting too emotional and over explaining,”
Kenson Kids entrepreneurs Jennifer Kent and Jennifer Edmundson saw their own families’ need for a clear approach to keeping up with daily chores, enforcing family rules and encouraging positive behavior as their children grew into the pre-teen years. They developed On Track! as a way to manage their families’ schedules, while teaching their middle school children to be accountable for their own responsibilities.
This new On Track! Behavior and Responsibility System is an extension of the other parenting solution products they’ve developed since 2006, including reward charts, a preschool chart and potty training system. The I Can Do It Reward Chart was Kenson Kids’ first product and continues to be a top-seller winning the Creative Child Magazine Top Choice Award, National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, Mom’s Best Award and recommended on the Super Nanny website.
On Track! along with the Kenson Kids’ other products, which provide parents, teachers and caregivers innovative and practical solutions to assist in the development and wellbeing of children, will be featured in booth #6368 at the American International Toy Fair. Founders Jennifer Kent and Jennifer Edmundson will demonstrate how easy it is to use these parenting tools and answer questions throughout the four-day show.
