Finish More By Doing Less? Marketing Authority Explains Simple Technique To Increase Output

Andrew Hiddleston shared an interesting system in his newest video on about entrepreneurial productivity. However it is not only marketing-centered but is applicable to any person’s day to day time and project management.

PRLog - Feb. 7, 2013 - TORONTO, Canada -- Known for his effective lean and mean internet marketing ideas, Andrew Hiddleston unravels his project management secret about improving productivity - http://www.leanmeanmarketing.com/increase-your-productivity-by-working-less (http://www.leanmeanmarketing.com/increase-your-productivity-by-working-less)

He starts by reminding the viewers of the human brain’s limitation of capacity in terms of memory retention and recollection. Managing overwhelming tasks and at the same time being more productive could lead to information overload or simply forgetfulness.

“The point is you need to manage tasks and your day in small manageable pieces. You cannot just jump into a large project and try to tackle it in one large piece. You have to break it down into small pieces or small segments that you can either manage yourself or assign to other people to assist you.” Hiddleston shares.

He further says, “Just like breaking down your tasks and projects, you have to do the same with your working day. Work for 45 minutes or an hour and then take a break. Take a quick 10-minute recharge. Come back, refocus, and then work again. And that allows you to work for more focused periods for an extended period of time without feeling burned out or fatigued or feeling like you want to die.”

This means that focus and refocusing are essential factors and should be taken into consideration if you want to maximize effectiveness without fatigue or burnout. Working in smaller high focus chunks can help you produce more volume in less time.

“One of the great places where you can start if you want to learn more about working in this style, working in chunks and working in segments, is checking out the Pomodoro Technique. It is a 50 or 60 page ebook which is a time-management technique about working in small increments, taking a quick break, and then refocusing again. It is a great time management technique - http://www.timemanagementtoolbelt.com -  for either internet marketers or internet business owners.” He suggested.

“You want to break down projects and tasks into manageable bite-size pieces that will let you not only progress faster but also, will allow you to delegate and assign it to other people if you need assistance. And then follow that same technique for your workday; work in small, manageable, focused bunches and then take a break. Recharge, come back, and focus again for 45 minutes or an hour.”

Hiddleston offered a simple page summary exploring the Pomodoro Technique. The summary was only in one page summarizing the entire 50 to 60-paged Pomodoro guide with no opt-in, no sign-up plus it is totally downloadable.
