PRLog - Feb. 10, 2013 - Umniah launched its most recent initiative targeting its employees through its “Train the Trainer program” entitled “Let’s Grow Together” and interacted with the first batch of employees. Initiated by the Human Resources department, the initiative aims at equipping Umniah’s team with the right skills to become professional trainers in their own fields of specialties and topics of interest.
Over the period of 5 days, a group of 16 Umniah employees attended an intensive workshop designed and delivered by the renowned international trainer and consultant, Fay Niewiadomski of ICTN. Fay brings in an experience of more than 40 years with extensive work on attitude change through theatre. The workshop focused on specific skills related to the design of an effective training through the application of best techniques. Umniah employees enjoyed the course and interacted with each other to learn new skills, and now are in the process of preparing for their own training workshops.
Umniah’s HR Director, Sami J commented: “Umniah’s strong sense of group unity and team spirit is part of what makes our success a reality. The launch of Umniah’s “Let’s Grow Together” initiative reflects our commitment to building the careers of our employees. We believe in their potential and will continue to develop their skills to become authoritative trainers passing down knowledge and helping their colleagues flourish at work.”
He added: “We are glad to have partnered with Fay Niewiadomski of ICTN, a brilliant train the trainer; the program proved to be unique and effective and our employees will benefit from it during their day to day work. We promise our colleagues to build on this initiative and we hope to accomplish the maximum impact by reaching out to all of our employees.”
From her end, Fay Niewiadomski stated: “I would like to extend my personal thanks to each employee for making the Train the Trainer workshop an ultimate success. I was very touched by all the wonderful things we shared together. I take this opportunity to commend the efforts and cooperation offered by Umniah’s staff.”
