Hispanic Chamber of PBC Announces Scholarships to be Awarded at 16th Annual Triunfo! Awards

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 6, 2013 - (West Palm Beach)- The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County will be raising funds for its ongoing scholarship program at the "Mundo Latino"-themed 16th Annual Triunfo! Awards Gala, which will be held April 6th at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens. The awards honor organizations that invest in and contribute to Palm Beach County's thriving Hispanic community, including local businesses, non-profit, educational, governmental entities, and healthcare and wellness providers.

The gala also honors the area's most promising Hispanic students, and in the last seven years, the event has raised over $80,000 in scholarships to send awardees to educational institutions ranging from Florida's public universities to Ivy League colleges. Educators are encouraged to nominate graduating seniors attending Palm Beach County schools who display academic excellence, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to enriching the Hispanic community. Both Hispanic and non-Hispanic students are eligible to apply for the Triunfo scholarship. Submissions may be sent via: Email to info@PBHChamber.com. Applications may be in English or Spanish, can be submitted on behalf of students attending PBC district schools or private and charter schools that are members of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and must be completed by February 28th to be considered.
