Hilton’s Spring-Summer 2013 collection is inspired by a moving concert, sponsored by The Museum of Modern Art.
Hilton’s “Ethereal Angels” collection is free spirited and transcends the ordinary into extraordinary encapsulating the essence of the modern woman.
The 2013 line incorporates the ethereal palette of azure, sky, and white. Prints transcend the ordinary and encompass free movement in fabrics that float over the body. Rouched and pleated dresses accentuate the feminine form and relate to the woman with just the right curvature. Soft Italian leather and neutral tones are used to deliver a sophisticated and chic look.
February is in full bloom with shades of rose, blush and lily white. Glazed chamois fabric is pleated and tucked to create a goddess like dress that is perfect for day into evening. Dresses are glazed over linen and have wonderful intarsia knitting techniques designed to emphasize a woman’s femininity. Accents include peplums in fluid pleats attached to structured torso silhouettes in jackets.
Early summer deliveries embrace an explosion of color in graphic. Silk cotton blouses are vibrant and bold. Galactic inspired jacquard cotton is realized in a simple shift dress. Infrared double basket weave viscose is understated as a cropped shrug and asymmetric cowl neck dress with subtle knife pleats at the hip.
Hilton: “This concert and the concept of angels in space really made me test my knowledge of soft fabrications. By working with some very new silhouettes, I pushed forward with a test of proportion and dimension while staying true to our Hilton Hollis customer.”
