New Logo Design For Cleethorpes Community Carnival 2013

Feb. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- A brand new logo for the Cleethorpes Community Carnival 2013, designed by Urban Juice graphic design studio, Lincolnshire, has been unveiled at Cleethorpes Memorial Hall, as part of plans to make this year's Carnival Parade the biggest and best ever.

The bright and vivid Brazilian inspired logo has been designed by Urban Juice graphic design apprentice Jessica Graves, who wanted the new logo to be colourful and represent summer fun.

Jessica, who has been training as an apprentice at the leading Grimsby graphic design company and is proud to be part of the Cleethorpes Community Carnival said, "I got the idea from a film called Rio. They have a big bright carnival in it and it's set in Brazil. The carnival was nearly called off this year, so I wanted it to have a big impact and make everyone want to go."

Young's Seafood Ltd has gratefully stepped in to save the Cleethorpes Carnival, which was originally cancelled this year when funding was unfortunately withdrawn from the event.

It has been a calendar highlight for the people of North East Lincolnshire, Grimsby, Cleethorpes and the surrounding areas since it started back in 1976 and last year brought in excess of twenty five thousand people to the highly popular beach resort, raising thousands of pounds for the local economy.

Penny Messenger, project officer for Young's Seafood Ltd said, "It's such a special event every year and we are pleased we can be part of putting it on again."

The Chair of Cleethorpes Events Ltd, Colin Eastwell, added "Courtesy of Young's, we will be putting the "wow factor" back into the carnival this year. It's such a fantastic community event and everyone will be in good spirits. It brings schools, businesses and everyone together on one day."
